We had the opportunity to travel to an absolutely unique, beautiful island this summer and meet two wonderful people who own and run the Discovery Inn. I had never heard of Friday Harbor (San Juan Island) but through research on the internet, I found the Inn and gave them a call to see if they had a room. I spoke to the owner, Beth, who filled me in on the island. The conversation led to me being a photographer and she asked if I would be willing to excahange photos of the property for the website in exchange for the stay at the Inn. Well of course I would! We traveled by ferry over to the island and had a most wonderful stay. I met Beth and Jim and if you ever travel to this island give them a call. They are most gracious people and we really appreciate the invite to the island. We will certainly be back with the kids to tour, kayak, and just relax. Here are a few photos from our adventure.
