Well the kids have been gone for a little over a week now. Very quiet around here. No doors slamming 100 times a day as Hunter and his friends go in and out the house. No little voice saying "mommy, what do you want me to wear today". Pretty boring actually but I am enjoying the time. Mike and I headed to Avon this past weekend and had a great time just doing nothing. We each bought books and sat by the pool for two days. We stayed at the Sheraton Mountain Vista which was nice. Avon is right beside Vail and believe me that the area caters to the elite and very rich. You should see the homes in Vail! We visited a furniture store or two for fun. The leather furniture was unbelievable and the price matched. How about $4,500.00 for a leather chair. No sweat...we bought two at that price plus a couch to match. Just kidding!
The kids are having a great time building memories with their grandparents. Tomorrow they are off to my mom and dads for a vacation at the beach. After that back to Greenville where they will make the jourmey with Mark and Marie back to Colorado. They will get here in time for the 4th of July. The week after that we leave for Steamboat Springs, CO to go camping with five other families. The rodeo and hot air balloons are in town that week so I hope to get some great shots. I love camping! The best family fun you can have.
